Our Story
Caju Afrique cashew farm started as a labor of love when a South African with Mauritian sugar cane farming roots decided to get involved in this stunning Inharrime region. With a team of enthusiastic managers and staff, he managed to clear dense bush and plant over 6,000 cashew trees on 85 hectares.
The trees were cultivated from seed from their own nursery on the farm and were grafted using local leaf stock prior to infield planting. The orchard currently sells its cashews (still in the shell) to a local processor who deshells, roasts and flavors the nuts.
